Passion-love; love inspired by desire, through any of the five senses; love in the passion realm as contrasted to [lang id =1028]法愛 the love inspired by the dharma.

◆謂眾生愛念妻子， 及貪染五欲等， 是名欲愛。 （五欲者， 以色聲香味觸五塵， 能起人貪欲之心也。 ） ◆謂於欲界五塵而起貪愛也。 因貪愛故， 推求不已， 是名欲愛。 （五塵者， 色塵、 聲塵、 香塵、 味塵、 觸塵也。 ）
